Hahn Air Lines GmbH launched an innovation lab to address the specific payment needs of the travel distribution faced by the company and later created FinMont GmbH as a separate company to focus on specific travel payment needs. One of the key impetuses for understanding the importance of payment orchestration came out in the aftermath of the Wirecard scandal, where the significant risks of being a merchant that relied on a single payment service provider were exposed.
The FinMont solution has been developed to address the market need for a payment orchestration platform that solves the specific needs of the travel industry.
Dr. Suby Valluri

Suby is an information engineer, economist and entrepreneur. He has previously worked as a software engineer, and product manager across multiple industries including travel, eCommerce, and banking before co-founding Finmont. His multidisciplinary knowledge and experience in both technology and payments have helped the team develop a market-leading solution that utilises the latest technology and solves customer payment problems in the travel sector.
Nico Gormsen

Nico is a serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist in the travel and tourism sector. He co-founded Hahn Air and led its success with his values-driven growth strategy by keeping Hahn Air’s prime focus on their customers’ and employees’ needs. This has led to the airline winning the “Great Place to Work Award” on multiple occasions. His inspirational and strategic role is driving the Finmont team empathetically towards the core vision of best customer and employee satisfaction.

Hans is a serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist in the travel and tourism sector. He co-founded Hahn Air and led its growth with his ability to predict industry trends and use this knowledge to act swiftly with focused business execution and expansion. He drives the Finmont team with his product vision and bias towards execution.
Mathieu Montmessin
Advisor
Mathieu has extensive experience in travel distribution from his roles in companies including Amadeus and Hahn Air, where he held various strategic and technological positions. He supports the Finmont team by using his knowledge to advise on the product to ensure it addresses the payment needs of both direct and indirect travel distribution channels.

James has extensive experience in tech communications and has worked across leading brands in the finance, fintech, payments, and travel industries. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and is working closely with the founders to develop the comms for the business and to build awareness of the team, the brand and the market-leading solution.
